Last year Ramadan Open Chess Championship 2008 won by Qatar FIDE Master Ghanem Al-Sulaiti ....Its been a tough fight between him against FCPL best player Mr. Salvador Imbuido resulted to a draw game.But last Qatar Open Chess Championship 2009 another FCPL chess wizard Eng'r. Richard Roxas defeated him on a neck to neck game to take the crown as Qatar Open Chess Champion.This coming tournament will be very exciting there are new good players who have strenghts to be the Ramadan Open Chess Champion 2009.And also the Qatari players they will bounce back to get the title...To have a preview of last Ramadan Open Chess Championship 2008..Final Ranking (Top 16)..
